·         First, when link building involves too many links too fast is said to be a mistakes that must be avoided. This method of link building will cause your site to drop in the ranking and this will definitely affect your traffic. 

·         Building Unnatural links- this link building strategy is when links are created that doesn’t look natural. These include getting links from adult sites or something that are not related in your industry. Though it would be possible that you could have sites that are not completely related to you, but it should not be low quality links from sites with bad reputation’s names.

·         Buying link blast- these links do not stick and give the benefits you always wanted. Buying link blast from places that send you from blog comment links.

·         Link exchanges- this links do not work at all. These sites have already considered as lower level because they do not provide the right type of link juice you need, this was confirmed since the Google updates.
